Garage. In Germany, this doesn't just mean a place where vehicles are parked. Garages are more of a place where people tinker, build and live. A place of social interaction. Especially in eastern Germany, garages were lovingly built, decorated and adorned with simple means before the fall of the Berlin Wall.
